Low Energy High Rise Talk

Low Energy High Rise Technical Talk - David provided the latest information from The Warren Centre's Low Energy High Rise (LEHR) project, and discussed how innovation in architecture and engineering technology can contribute to saving the planet. David argued for changed paradigms in education and practice that incorporate environmental and sustainability principles going well beyond legal compliance.

AEW Podwalk Workshop

As part of Australian Engineering Week, the University of New South Wales and Engineers Australia Heritage Committee are running the first of a series of PodWalk workshops specifically for young engineers.
The workshop will include a tour of The Rocks specifically focussing on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Dawes Battery by the award winning author Michael Clarke, as well as being able to create their own podwalk.

YEAS for EWB Engineering Week Young Engineers Sports Day

To celebrate Engineering Week and to kick start the Olympics, YEAS are throwing a Sports Day.
It will be hours of fun with games ranging from an egg and spoon race, to a massive tug-o-war.
