YEA-V Dinner with Guest Speaker, Victorian Young Engineer of the Year - John Fascio, 3rd March, 2005

A young entrepreneur and also Victorian Young Engineer of the Year, now leading his own company, John Fascio is a great inspiration to many a young engineer beginning their career after graduating from university. The dinner presentation night at Di Mattinas, was a great night to meet young engineers interested in developing their career plans, as John led a thoughtful presentation on his career changes and growth over the past decade. Along with the good food, we learnt a few important lessons on how to cope with working full-time, work place relations, learning to take initiative and using intuition and innovation to guide your career. Attendance for YEA-V members is at a nominal cost, and we encourage you to participate in the community of engineers (undergraduate students are highly encouraged to attend these events).
