Johh Denton is founding director of Denton Corker Marshall (DCM) and the newly appointed State Government Architect for Victoria. Some of John Denton's significant Melbourne projects are the Melbourne Museum, Bolte Bridge, the Melbourne Gateway (affectionately known as 'the big cheese stick') and the Melbourne Exhibition Centre (or 'Jeff's shed').
The newly created Office of the Victorian Government Architect aims to provide leadership and strategic advice for the Victorian Government about architecture and urban design and to promote Melbourne as a centre of design excellence.
