Over 80 enthusiastic engineers eager to enter of progress into the management path gather at the Leadership and Career Path Options for Engineers workshop held at Engineering Australia on Thursday 28th September. The workshop was jointly organized by YEA-V and CELM introduced four panel members Dr. Rebecca Gravina, Ms. Martina Zeitier, Mr. paul Douglas and Mr. Mr. Peter Scott.
The panel members offered their invaluable career experience in industry and university which opened a vast window of opportunity for workshop attendees to discuss their workplace challenges, opportunities to develop their career path. Panel members took the attendees through their career journey, from graduating to the lecturing in the university, from site engineering to making a balance between motherhood and work commitment. The workshop was a big success and engineers got fair tips what to expect from their managers and what to provide to their colleagues once they become managers.
